Our short film project entitled The Wake is currently casting for a male lead actors. The film has cast some amazing and well known professional actors but we have one more role to fill.

The film  will be shot on location in Co. Monaghan/ Dublin and will shoot September 26th and 27th and October 4th. The film is written by award winning screenwriter Jonathan Hughes and directed by Annika Cassidy. This is a lo/no budget short so this role is regrettably unpaid however catering, expenses will be covered.

The Wake, a 12min comedy, follows the story of three young brothers at their grandmother’s wake and the bitter rivalry over who is worthy of saying the Prayers of the Faithful. The film is currently searching for the role of Sean for a playing age of 18 to 20.

Sean  – The cool older brother. The sensible one, stays out of the spotlight, keeps himself busy elsewhere (like the kitchen), has a great sense of humour. Is witty and has a big heart. Interested applicants should send a showreel.
